Where are the burden bearers? Where are the intercessors in my generation?
The burden bearers have become the rumour carriers. They are busy backbiting about one another when they should be on their knees praying. They are out there devouring people with the words of their mouth when they should be in the secret place interceding for them.
They are so sensitive to things but they now use their gift negatively. They rejoice in the downfall of fellow brethren instead of them looking for a way to lift them.
They attend to their day-to-day activities as if nothing is wrong when there is fire on the mountain. They are in the church picking up the fault of members instead of committing their hearts to God.
Where are the burden bearers?
They are in the church chasing after their village masquerade that does not have their time.
They are currently sleeping while there is a fire on the top of their roof.
They are out there struggling for a microphone on the pulpit.
Who sent you?
What is happening in my generation?
Lots of rebels in the church and yet the burden bearers are watching, not doing anything.
Have you forgotten Galatians 6:1-2 that says :
“Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”
BURDEN BEARERS ARISE!!!
Enough of the slumber. It’s time to go back on your knees. Enough of the complaints and go back on your knees. Enough of the spiritual death in the church, let’s awake them on our knees.
Let’s bring the people’s burden to Christ today.
Let’s bring back the fire that has gone dim.
