Where should I start from? Sighs. If truly our generation is saying “it doesn’t matter” the way we dress to the House of God or how we dress while engaging ourselves in our day to day activities, we are meant to represent Christ everywhere we go, even through our mode of dressing.

Who are we preaching to if we decide to dress like a clown or like a Halloween to church or the world, to the people who are watching us all? We dress in this manner all in the name of fashion, yet address ourselves as “Christ Model or Christ-like”.

Some of us were not brought up this way, but we have decided to follow the culture of some people. As Father Paul asked, “Are you brought up that way?” We hide under the so-called words like “God deals with the heart” forgetting that the appearance of the heart influences the outward appearance.

Have you ever thought of whom you are representing through your dressing? The kingdom of darkness is glad and jubilating over how their fashion styles are being exalted in the house of God.

Have you thought of what the church will be like in the coming generation? Do you really care about the next generation at all? Those kids are looking up to you, copying your mode of dressing, if they cannot differentiate your dressing from the unbeliever’s, their blood is on you. If they lose heaven because of your mode of dressing, you will surely pay for it.

Many of them still fight and struggle with lust but they are not free from it yet. Your “it doesn’t matter” mode of dressing compounds this spirit of lust in them, it permits lustful compliments of how sexy they appear in clothes.

It’s okay…

Daddy Paul said “if eating meat will make your neighbour sin, don’t eat it” Rom.14:21

A word is enough for the wise.
