Religiosity has overwhelmed the church. This has made them neglect the real essence of the coming of Jesus to the world. All that we can see in the church today is the mere reading of the word of God without the proper application in our day-to-day activities.
An average Christian doesn’t recognize Jesus. They don’t even know how awesome He is. Some haven’t had an encounter with Him. They just go to church, sing, dance, read the Bible and pray to God. They don’t bother to have a relationship with Him, they just want to call upon Him whenever they are faced with life troubles and they are almost sheltered.
I want you to be sincere to yourself at this point in time and answer these questions. Can Jesus be proud of you? Have you made Him smile with your lifestyle? What have you done for Him?
Jesus has done so much for you but yet you have rejected Him. On the Calvary tree, Jesus suffered and died for you. He loved you so generously before you were born and after you were born. He already set and prepared how your life journey will be but yet you refuse to have any relationship with Him. He has saved you from so many evil attacks right from birth until this present moment but yet you refuse to make Him the King of your life.
You neglected Him, you made worldly treasures and have a priority over Him and yet He still loves you.
All that He wants from you is your total submission. He wants to reign over your life, He wants to be the King of your territory. He wants to hear you sing for Him, He wants to play with you just like a father playing with His kids. He wants you to be his mouthpiece to mankind. He wants you to make Him the priority over everything in your life. He wants to journey with you throughout your lifetime. He wants to work through you. He wants to transform your life. He doesn’t want His coming to the world to be in vain. He wants to express His feelings to you.
Kindly give Him a chance today and allow Him to be the king of your life.
