A grateful soul keeps giving thanks to God even in pain knowing fully well that all will be well. He keeps fixing his gaze on his creator holding on to His amazing promise. He acknowledges God’s existence and never jokes about it.

He gives praise to his creator because there is no one to look up to except Him. In humility, he lifts his hands to Him because he appreciates how wonderful his creator has been to him.

He may not understand what he is doing but his sincere heart of adoration goes to his creator as a sacrifice.

A grateful soul is a happy man that sets his troubles aside to worship his creator. He adorns and praises his creator not looking at his present troubles, then he rises with a heart that has been settled from all troubles and challenges.

A grateful soul smiles amidst the storm because he is at rest having an assurance that a mighty man is ahead of him working in His miraculous ways to calm the storm.

Are you a grateful soul? Is your trouble dictating how to react, or have you chosen to be grateful to God irrespective of your current situation?  Or you are still thinking about whether to be grateful to your creator or not?

Give thanks to your creator as long as you are still breathing. Not looking like what you’ve been through is enough reason for you to give thanks to your creator.

Some people without shelter still find ways to be happy but you keep complaining about your present job.

From January to the present day in August, you are healthy, it’s not by your good works but God’s mercy that keeps you. Then tell me why you shouldn’t be grateful to your God.

His amazing love safeguards you from the devil’s destruction yet you are not grateful. In your filthiness, He pardons you and yet you didn’t see any reason to be grateful.

When will you be grateful? Is it when you are unable to breathe any longer?

It is not too late to tell your amazing creator how grateful you are to be alive with everything working well…

Thank Him for the boundless love He has shed abroad in your heart. Thank Him for His mercy, favour, and grace.

Thank Him for the present moment, things He hasn’t done, things He is about to do.

Your thank you is not enough but it goes a long way for you in receiving a blessing.

Learn to be grateful
