Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and light unto my path says the book of Psalm
I love this passage for it is a soothing promise and a Psalm
It gives me hope in time of distress
It has been my guide to this I must confess

I have a guide which is the Bible
It brings strength when I’m weak
It is more precious than silver and gold
And those who have it as their guide stand tall and bold.

In times of sadness and bitterness
I go to the word and find happiness
In it lies the antidote to all life challenges
For in it I find the solution to my problems and challenges.

It has been in existence for ages
And it contains the word of the Father whom I call the Rock of Ages
The word it entails can heal your grief,
Soothe your pain and give you complete relief

I will advice you to take it as your guide
And let it always be by your side
For in it you can securely hide
If you mediate and obey with all your might

I have promised that to this book I will cling
And of it’s worth I will sing
I bring to you my guide
Which you can easily find.

Let it be the light to your feet
And the lamp to your path
And when you are in distress
Run to it for it is a sure fortress

It contains light to direct you
And a soothing balm to comfort you
Oh!! My Bible, my precious Bible
A sure antidote to the weak and feeble.

I will mediatate my Bible daily
And inculcate the true word in many
For it is a shield and guide
Which you can easily find.

Do you have a guide? Well, if you don’t why not make the Bible your guide and run to it for protection and comfort at any time

The Book of Psalm 28:7 says: The Lord is my strength and shield, my heart trust in him and I am helped

The Book of Psalm 18:2 says: The Lord is my rock and fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge.

How will you know that God is your guide and your rock if you don’t read the Bible?

Let the Bible be your guide before God can be your guide because without the Bible as your guide you can’t have God as a guide.

Resolve to read your Bible daily and make it your guide for in it lies your true guide.
